2024 HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN
I’m currently working at Buckle, creating digital assets for our biggest sales of the year—definitely high-pressure, but exciting! This holiday campaign marks a shift from Buckle’s past designs, moving away from heavy textures in favor of a cleaner look. I chose a bold deep color palette with geometric snowflakes for a whimsical yet clean design. I paired italicized Didot with bold sans-serif fonts, which adds a soft, elegant touch while maintaining a modern, polished feel. It’s been a fun challenge to balance clean design with holiday cheer, and I’m excited about how it’s coming together!
HOME PAGE DESIGN
These are the wireframes I designed for our homepage, showing both the desktop and mobile versions. They outline the structure of the page, with clear indications of where buttons will lead users to on the site. Throughout the design process, I focused on ensuring proper spacing and maintaining a user-friendly layout, all while making sure the design is ADA compliant for accessibility.
Once I complete the wireframes in Photoshop, I send them out for preview and feedback from our extended team. After incorporating any edits or suggestions, I save out the images and PNGs for any fonts we don’t have as web fonts. Then, I send all the files to our web developer, who begins building the page. We collaborate closely to ensure that the layout works seamlessly, refining the design to achieve the best possible user experience (UX). It’s a team effort to get everything just right, but it's rewarding to see the final product come together.
